Ingredients

  • ½ dl oats
  • Approx. 5 blueberries
  • 1 raspberry
  • 1-2 dl natural yogurt (not too runny)

Instructions

Food and meals are about using the senses. It can be really difficult for some children, but when playing with food, we awaken our children's senses in a fantastic way.

And the best part is, it can be done really simply. Try it yourself with this cupcake breakfast. It's really just another way to serve yogurt with oats and fruit.

Shape the oats like a muffin liner. Make the muffin from the yogurt - it's easiest if you use a spoon to shape it. Decorate with blueberries and raspberries.

NOTE: Since blueberries are small and round (and therefore have a higher risk of choking), I recommend that until about 2 years of age, you press the blueberries with a finger so they flatten out a bit.  

Tip:

Let your child decorate the cupcake themselves. Place some bowls on the table with different contents (e.g., desiccated coconut, chopped nuts, various berries, raisins, etc.) – children love to decorate cakes, even if they are healthy breakfast cakes :-)
