ABOUT CHARLOTTE
More calm, food enjoyment and presence around the dinner table
I help families create safe mealtimes with more presence, fewer conflicts, and room for curiosity.
THE STORY
Safe meals that allow for curiosity and enjoyment of food
For many years, I met families where mealtimes had become filled with worries, frustrations, and conflicts. This made me want to create a different approach with more calm, more understanding, and more joy around the dinner table.
Today, I help families with concrete tools and knowledge that make mealtimes safer, cozier, and more present for both children and adults ♡
FOUNDER
Meet Charlotte
My name is Charlotte, and besides being a mother of two lovely girls and married to Tomas, I am also a specialist in children's eating habits with 20 years of experience.
I am a specialist in children's eating habits – and in how to achieve pleasant moments around the dinner table as a family.
As early as 2015, I was among the pioneers in Denmark to work with the “Division of Responsibility” – The Satter Division of Responsibility in Feeding – from the Ellyn Satter Institute. The method is about giving children responsibility for their own eating – an essential step towards a healthy, natural relationship with food. The following year, I completed Level 1 training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) Approach to Feeding Therapy, where the focus is on senses, security, and gradual adaptation to new textures and tastes.
It's not just about food
In my approach to children's eating, it's not just about what goes into their mouths. I work holistically with parental dynamics, the child's nervous system, sensory regulation, and the psychological space at the table. Meals are a gathering point for love, security, and presence, which extends far beyond nutrition alone.
