Calcium porridge

Ingredients

  • 100ml quick oats
  • 150ml water (or prepared infant formula or breast milk)
  • 1 tsp blended sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp blended almonds (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Infant formula or breast milk as needed

Instructions

Bring the water (or milk) to a boil with the oats.

Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you are making the porridge with milk, stir more often as it burns more easily. 

Blend the sesame seeds until they are a fine powder. Blend the almonds very finely until they become flour. Mix the sesame powder, almond flour, and vanilla powder into the oat porridge and stir well.

Add milk until the porridge reaches your desired consistency.

Top with fruit puree and a dollop of butter.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

❄️ Can be stored in the refrigerator for 1 day. I do not recommend freezing porridge, as the quality is poor when thawed.

NOTE: This porridge is both good for bones and an excellent sleep aid, as it contains minerals that promote the sleep process.
